Habakkuk 2:3

'But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day'.

There were 22 families from my adoption agency (Children's Hope International) that received their referral just two days ago. These families have been where I am right now.....and they've made it. They have received news and pictures of their little miracles. This gives me hope and encouragement. My Caroline won't be here right away, but slowly, steadily, and surely, she will officially be my daughter. God's timing is perfect.

Hang in there, Chris! Your time will come. Just knowing that God is in control and His timing is perfect gave me peace throughout the hard waiting. I hope this fact will give you the same peace. Blessings!

I love that verse, it was so encouraging to us as we waited. And I know hindsight is 20/20, but now I know I would have waited 100 years to have my children.... not just any children, but these children, the ones God chose just for me! I can not imagine if one piece of paper had taken a little longer, or one part of the process went faster.... I would not have Zachary. If I hadn't looked at the photolistings at just the "right" time, Quin and Kiara wouldn't be here. It is really amazing how it all comes together in His perfect timing. May God bless you and Caroline as you wait for each other.
